Freeze Me
Deciding when to deliver our Christmas baked goods can be tricky! This year, we will be dropping off these treats at your doorstep five days before Christmas. While we do all of our baking the day before delivery, we recommend freezing any baked items you plan to save for Christmas Day.
If a baked good can be frozen, it will have a little sticker indicating so! Our cookies are all soft-baked and freeze very well. Trust us—freezing and thawing a cookie once results in very little, if any, loss of quality.

Trust us—freezing and thawing a cookie once results in very little, if any, loss of quality. In fact, it’s better to freeze them, as cookies or bread left out for a week will likely become dry. Most cookies, breads, and bars can be frozen and enjoyed later. However, please note that neither our chocolate pie nor our coconut cream pie is freezer-friendly.

When your baked goods arrive, consider when you plan to eat them. If that time is more than 48 hours from your delivery date, we recommend freezing those items. If you want to enjoy a few cookies before freezing the rest, we completely understand! Just wrap the box in clear kitchen wrap or cover it with a ziplock bag before placing it in the freezer. Remember to set your cookie box on the counter to thaw for 12 hours before serving.

Now, let’s talk about the slice of bread! You might find a piece of bread tucked into the side of your cookie box. This old family trick helps to maximize the freshness of your cookies! Simply discard the bread when you finish your cookies, or add a new slice if you have some cookies left.
