Planning Christmas Day
When I was a teenager, I began helping my grandparents organize their Christmas gift-giving. With so many siblings and family members, everyone would submit a Christmas list, and I would distribute the wishes accordingly. I became the central hub for Secret Santa inquiries, stocking stuffing, and gift wrapping. After I got married and had kids of my own, the operation doubled in size. Every year, my family tries to convince me to step back, claiming that managing a family, job, and life is too much to handle, but I refuse to give up this fun task.
I gladly accept help from my two main elves, my little sister and my mom. My husband helps carry the packages up the hill and calms me down when I start to get overwhelmed, so I give him credit as well. Beyond that, the key to success is simple. Lists on top of lists, of course.
Kayla, my sister-in-law and a gift-giving genius who also heads Good Batch Mama's marketing department, agreed that we couldn't pull this off without an organized system to track all of our gift-giving. With her skills, she created fantastic printables that contain all the essential notes we need for this Christmas season!
She even took a moment to redesign our Thanksgiving holiday food prep guides with a Christmas flair, which are also available below.
