Anna Catherine

You might know her as Cat, Anna, Anna Catherine, or even Kitty—but around here, she’s also Good Batch Mama’s Chief ‘What’ Officer. She’s the mastermind behind the perfect charcuterie spread, a list-making extraordinaire, and always up for experimenting with new recipes. She’s also the brain behind our blog, *Dibs & Dabs*, and the reason there’s always a Friday newsletter in your inbox. When she’s not juggling schedules like a pro, she’s soaking up life as a proud mama to four amazing daughters. Basically, if there’s a plan to be made (or a snack board to be built), Anna Catherine’s got it covered!
And that’s exactly why she deserves a moment in the spotlight. Keep reading to learn more about Anna Catherine and her ‘why’ behind it all!
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR FAMILY.
A little about my family? For starters, there is nothing little! My parents were cool enough to give me four built in best friends- my three bothers and my sister are the best. Thanks to their romantic endeavors, I’ve gained some pretty stellar add on siblings. I was married young and my husband had three little girls when we got married. I have been lucky to learn and gain so much from that path- motherhood, co-parenting, and mixed families; it can be so beautiful- don't knock it till you try it! Plus, we just welcomed our fourth daughter this past February and are expecting another baby in June.
ADVICE YOU'D GIVE TO OTHER MOMS & PROVIDERS.
Family dinner isn’t always possible, but feeding your family can be! You can express love and create connection through food, even in passing. It doesn’t have to be difficult or fancy! A ham slider, diced sweet potatoes, and a chocolate chip cookie with a simple note can turn a day around and make a lasting impression on your spouse, child, or friend. These are just a few of the items available weekly on our website- all you have to do is stock your freezer and write the note!
WHO IS SOMEONE YOU LOOK UP TO?
Is it cheesy to say my business partners? Adam and I are hardly a year a part, and he’s my best friend and brother in one. We share an office and spend way too much time dreaming and plotting instead of working. His drive and passion are an inspiration to me. And as for my mother, well, where would I be without her? She taught me to cook, she taught me to host, and she taught me to love. Who I am at work and at home reflect who she raised me to be. What can I say? I keep my heroes close.
