Back To School

August 7, 2025

With school back in session and summer break winding down, getting back into a routine can feel overwhelming. Bedtimes have gone out the window, meals have been more spontaneous than planned, and getting everyone back on track—kids and adults—can feel nearly impossible.

So, we thought we'd lend a hand.

Now, we can't get your kids dressed and out the door in the morning (we wish!), but we can help make the rest of your week a little less stressful.

We've created a new sheet to help you tackle busy schedules and food prepping: the Pack Your Own Lunch template! Whether it's only occasionally or every morning, there's never anything easy about packing lunches. Knowing what your child enjoys and keeping a well-stocked pantry are two ways to speed up the process! This sheet includes six categories filled with ideas. Have your kiddos circle the items in each section they would like to see, then use it for your grocery shopping. When it's time to tackle actually packing the lunch, encourage little kids to grab one item from each category, or use it for your own reference!

Last year, Anna Catherine gave us a peek into what helps her stay sane while juggling five kids and five different schedules: A Week at a Glance. It's a simple weekly planner you can use whether you're managing a house full of activities or just trying to stay on top of your own full calendar. Use it to map out your week, your dinners, and maybe even a moment of peace.

And since summer tends to throw meal routines right out the window—with later nights and sunny days—we're adding another tool to your back-to-school reset: our Weekly Menu Planner. We created it to help you think ahead just enough—breakfast, lunch, dinner, maybe even snacks—so you can skip the last-minute stress and keep your days running smoothly.

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but around here, we believe every meal matters. And a little planning goes a long way.
